Bidrage med feedbackBought 2 packs, one from the old shop and one from the new place just to find out if there is any difference in the taste and texture. Found out that the old shop is better, probably due to less known by people. New shop has a long queue as people mostly take away 10 packs at a go. They only serve one type.
As you open up the packet, you get hit with that aroma of fried onions, making you salivate. The Chee cheong fun itself could have been smoother as it was slightly on the drier side of things. The addition of the green chilli makes it taste even better as it balances out the Chee cheong fun.
No introduction is required as this CCF (Teluk Intan version) is widely and divestly covered and blogged by journalists and bloggers. The texture of the CCF is smooth and not thick yet gives one a mouthful experience. Flavorsome as the CCF is packed with lots of ingredients. Do not let its appearance put you off as it is presented with lots of black stuff in the fillings. Once you take your first bite, you won't stop. When you buy, don't just buy 1 pack. You will not be satisfied. We are not saying it's a small pack; in fact, the packing size is reasonable for one person's serving. Anyway, trust us. You should allocate a minimum of 2 packs per person. It's that good.
First time try Teluk Intan chee cheong fun, when first open i am speechless because they didn't put sesame and not even give any sauces, But.... at least they give pickled green chili. WHY pickled green chili? Because this pickled green chili helps cut down oil taste. Chee cheong fun here quite unique because they filled it with dried shrimp, fragrant shallots, and chopped jicama. You don't need any sauce because the filling already flavourful.
This Teluk Intan version of ccf is full of ingredients and is tasty even when eating without any sauce. One bite and you can chew on the fried shrimp, meat vege. One of my favorite
