Bidrage med feedbackI was visiting Germany from the United States while doing some research on my family roots from Telgte. I stopped in at this pub and had a very good dinner. I mentioned my search for family history and the patrons and the waitress were most helpful. Although I don't speak German and they spoke very little English it was obvious that they were welcoming and friendly. After a few beers we were all friends. Great place for dinner or a pint or two.
Tante Lina is an institution! This tiny bar has the best Schnitzel in town and in a large range of variations at a more favourable price. There is the typical counter straight ahead, but additional rooms left hand to sit like in a dining room or living room. During summer you can sit outside as well. There are two much-loved aunts and some young assistance which will serve you at any time.
We had lunch here while visiting the "Krippenausstellung" next door. For of us ordered varied food and it all came st the same time, which nowadays id nkt guaranteed. We all enjoysd our food and we would all come back. The only minus point was that the service was a bit slow,.
Sauberkeit: In Ordnung.
We liked the atmosphere and the place near the market square church and decided to have diner in tante lina. beautiful place to sit for a coffee, lunch or diner. it is very cozy (sofas and chairs.) it also offers toys for our...daughter (2 years.) they have a children's menu, not especially (all with sweet). Eating is nice and the prices are okay. for a quick dinner really nice to stay.
