We visited this place twice during our vacation, and both times a great experience! The view is phenomenal. We went for a coffee, strudel and Kaiserschmarren. The hosts are nice and the place as a whole has a great ambience. You can reach the place by car. Definitely a recommendation!

This restaurant is incredibly nice and we were pleased with everything. We’re a vegetarian family of 5, visited on January 3th, 2018. The menu is quite broad and even for those with certain preferences there are plenty of options. The food itself is mainly Austrian cuisine, served in traditionally large and hearty portions. At first there was only one male waiter (should note that his English was perfect and he was kind and polite) who said that he could only serve us food after drinks as making everything at once would be ‘too busy for me’, but not long after a female waitress appeared and nevertheless we were served our food very quickly. It seemed to us that this is a family-run business and I should say it truly has the atmosphere of such. Overall our meal of two vitality salads, which consist of various vegetables (one large and one small), ravioli with spinach and ravioli with potatoes (as 2 separate dishes), pasta with vegetables, a piece of buckwheat cake with black currant, a glass of orange juice, a glass of mulled wine, a jug of some more wine and a pot of tea cost us 102€. I, along with all of my family, highly recommend this place for great food, polite waiters and authentic Austrian atmosphere.

We had walked up to this location to find it was closed for emergency renovations which were told would take a couple of days. The view was so incredible we had to go back and we did. We had visited the Rauthhutte earlier and made our way here to enjoy the afternoon sunshine and view. They offered a good selection of hot/cold/alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks. The views are fantastic and it's great to have a place to stop and enjoy them. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Well worth a stop if only for a drink and a snack. A place definitely not to miss and a favourite place for guides to bring their walking groups. The bus from Seefeld will drop you a short distance away if you need it.
