Yau's Takeaway - Teignbridge

Yau's is always superb. Lovely Chinese food (and shhh the best chips in town! . A lovely family business.

The staff were great, friendly and accommodating with requests. Everything on time and came out hot. And absolutely no complaints with the food. Large portions of fresh and delicious food. Would 100% recommend and will definitely visit again. Thanks guys!

For many years Yau's was not good. It changed hands and I was optimistic. Unfortunately it it is now worse. The barbecued spare ribs I ordered today were overcooked, dried out and came without any sauce. They were inedible and i binned them. I will not be going back.

Have tried a few time since being taken over but will be finding a new takeaway! Order never ready on time, food saltly and now it's closed again due to unforeseen circumstances??? I can only imagine why......

What a real disappointment ! The menu has changed quite a bit but the real problem is that the ones which appear to be the same as the last owners are hopelessly different. If only they had taken advice from the last owners and used the same suppliers, things may have been alright, but the changes have really been awful and it grieves me to say so, having been a regular customer practically every week since 2009. I'm afraid that I shall have to find another takeaway for the forseeable future, unless this place has a radical change of mind about what it is offering.
