This is a great country pub with excellent beers and good food. Miss it at your peril

We popped in for a roast after being unable to go for a long walk as planned as the weather was shocking. Every cloud has a silver lining as they say because we wouldn't have been able to visit if it wasn't for the rain. The staff were incredible, the food was delicious (all too often pubs get away with serving lack luster Sunday Roasts but certainly not here), the venue it's self is like something out of a book. It's all so picturesque and idealistic (even in the rain). Definitely worth a visit! Food drinks: Delicious Sunday roast

My wife and I had a great 3 nights staying at the Inn with our golden retriever. The food was excellent, the ale great and the staff were all very friendly. Our dog loved the local walks. The lane's around the Inn are quite narrow, I would suggest checking with the Inn the easiest way to get there, rather than rely on the sat nav. Walkability: Some nice walks from the Inn, although the nearby forest is private. Rooms: 5
