Friendly staff. Stunning views. Great beers. Unfortunately the food is average. Personally I would try another place next time.

Stunning views from the outside tables of this excellent restaurant with mostly local guests as it is off the tourist track. Very enjoyable food and good service. We met our waiter the following day in the restaurant at the top of the chair lift and he gave us a wonderful welcome!

Wonderful location above and overlooking Tegernsee. Outside terrace with super views. Inside traditional wood panelling and furniture. Excellent choice of Bavarian favourites

We visited Tergensee on our tour of Bavaria and on the advice of our hotel we had dinner here. An excellent recommendation! Great welcome with a lovely warm ambiance. The food is a lovely example of Bavarian cuisine. Service excellent, very efficient and quick without being rushed. Only one problem for the non-German/non-European traveler: non-European credit cards are not accepted; cash the only alternative.

Just came back there after several years not visiting the region, sort of nostalgy and very positive memories. Location still the same with a fantastic view across the lake, a wooden fire was on, hardly any diners. Disappointed about the Kasspatzn, very happy about the service, i.e. speed and kids-friendly.
