Absolutely recommend having a serve of fish and chips here. Decent serve and lovely. Not over cooked at all was perfect. Staff are great too. Sit outside at their tables or walk across the road and eat by the river.

Ordered the fish and chips. Generous portion size. Fish was very good. Chips were average. Lots of condiments, but missing sauce cups. Enjoyable meal.

Had to stop in to hawk's nest to pick up a laptop stopped in to get some lunch it was absolutely delicious also great service this was straight across the road aswell nice little spot

Some of the best fish and chips I've had in Sydney, much better than Bub's across the river. Can get it takeaway and sit at one the picnic tables by the water.

Bad. we ordered ourselves to dinner. the grilled barramundi as advertised was most likely frozen basa or ling filets from asia. tasteless, dry, undercooked, insensitive. so disappointing as fresh local fish is available here. if they do fish and chips, then do it right or earn to go out of business. will never go back $120 and feel sick.
