Definitely the best place where to go to eat in Taxenbach. In the menu you find wide selection of local food done in a very high quality. The service is excellent!

We highly recommend this restaurant in the area between Zell am See and Schwarzach. The food is delicious and prepared to perfection. The service is welcoming, friendly and very professional. This will become a regular venue for us to visit while we are on holiday in the area.

We had an amazing meal in this restaurant. The food was really, really good. Nice atmosphere, also. The hosts speak very good English, too. I liked it a lot.

We visited this region for a couple of days with my wife and 3 y.o. son. Since we only went for B&B we had to find some options around where to eat. So we found this restaurant on the internet and we were addressed by their attractive menu. The restaurant is easy to reach - directly at the main road through the Salzach valley. It has a big parking place in the yard if you come by a car.The restaurant is quite big and offers three different areas. One is obviously used as a breakfast room of the hotel in the same building, the other part is for lunch or dinner and then they have a nice teracce which is great for hot summer evenings. We were there quite early for dinner so we could choose any table we wanted but than people started coming and in the end the teracce was completely full (approx. 20 people and a couple of tables were also occupied inside). Despite this fact the staff was fast and able to serve all the guests. You would not notice that there was only one lady doing all the work.The menu is really interesting and you can find many local specialties there as well as new ideas of the chef. We especially appreciated that there was no sausage with pommes on it as in many many restaurants in that area focused on tourists only. We had a beef wrap, a Wiener schnitzel and a roasted chicken for our son. We also tried 2 different soups. Everything was amazing. Unfortunately we were so full that we could not go for desserts which also looked tempting. In the end the staff wrapped up the rest of the roasted chicken (which our son could don eat anymore) automatically for us to go. So we were satisfied with everything. What we regret is that we did not make second time within the period we spent in the region.Of course you must be ready to pay for such taste experience. We spent more than 70 EUR for the three of us incl. tip. But it is nothing scary considering what you get for your money.
