Sakura Zen - Tawau

The best place for Japanese eating in tawau. much better quality than cheap Japanese foods like sushi king, which is often similar expensive. good comfortable seating or tables for larger parties (can simply be a long table for a party of 16 or a room for 30 people, but best to reserve it early). there is also a sushi bar, with the rotating food train. the only thing is that the toilets could use some renovations to make it more contemporary and additional comfort.

The best Japanese restaurant in tawau. the prices are expensive, but the foods are good. recommended for those who like Japanese foods and who can afford the cost.

Not bad but can be better. Bbq sauce is just too sweet, too heavy taste.

The best miso soup I’ve ever had in sushi restaurant in Tawau. Not yet tried any of their sushi, it does gives similar vibes to authentic Japanese restaurant. Can be more improved.
