Hurricane Dockside Grill - Tavares

The Perfect Storm truly lived up to its name! Everything was perfect and incredibly delicious!

My husband really enjoyed the beer-battered fish; he's quite particular about haddock, and this dish impressed him. The portion was generous. I tried the firecracker shrimp taco, which was packed with flavor. I especially loved the ginger-based dressing on the slaw.

The kids' order was supposed to be Garlic Parmesan, but it arrived plain instead. Also, we ordered corn on the cob, but it came served in a cup!

The food was good. Her guacamole and salsa was bland, but it also tasted fresh. The only thing I have to say is that the lava cake did not come with ice cream, just a little whip cream in the middle. Not worth the price if you ask me. Other than that, satisfied.

It wasn't here for 5 years. opened at 11:00, but the doors were locked. Our server was Tiffany, and she did a nice job. Our food was excellent; Steak Burger and Cancun chicken pack. I think it would help if she had a draft beer list. The prices were fair for today's business environment. The toilets were clean. We'll give them another shot when we're in the area.
