Great eating, cocktails, beautiful staff, fast service.

Amazing food and amazing service! Those are the words I would use to use to sum this place up! I had a quesadilla which was great and only for $12! It filled you up! But I think that was just a 1 night thing. The Tacos were great and had fresh veges which was great. There was quick service expect for 1 item, but they apologized which was really nice. Definitely would go again. And is one of the best restaurants in taupo

It's a backpacker bar with a authentic Mexican menu that's on point. We had the Tacos and they were 10/10. Go for the house made corn tortillas, they are soft and gluten free. The pulled meats where tasty and not overpowering. The taco fills was generously 85% meat, I love that!

Great Mexican decor and the sangria definitely went down a treat. A little disappointed with the lack of hot sauce selection and authenticity when it came to the food. I love my hot sauce and had to sneak my own in on my second visit. I guess the moral of the story is...I went back for more. It's also right next to the Base Backpackers so it's in a great location for the target audience.

If even I used the first table to book, I can only gave 3 stars and wish I had never been there. Don’t order anything pull pork. I never had such bad pull pork before. Tacos have better value than the other food we ordered. Disappointed! The other fake Mexican food in NZ. Is there authentic Mexican food in NZ though?
