Das Linzerhaus - Tauplitz

We visited this mountain chalet 1639m several times. I speak about Linzerhaus on Tauplitzalm, because there is an eponymous chalet on Wurzeralm just a few kilometers from there (very nice too! This is suitable for refreshment during 6 lakes round trip and especially...good accommodation. So I split the review into two parts. Restaurant: It offers delicious Austrian cuisine with typical carvings, pork roasts etc. and popular sweet meals like Kaiserschmarrn. Very good soups are also offered. All meals are homemade. Service is very friendly and professional. You can either sit inside cottage in the restaurant room with beautiful views of the mountains or on the terrace in warmer weather with Traweng mountain magnificent views. Acommodation: It is worth spending some nights there in a typical Aline Club Chalet. The rooms are simple, but clean. Some are equipped with showers (comfort rooms Linzerhaus on Tauplitzalm can be reached by car via Alpenstraße or by lift from Tauplitz. Pets on the leash are allowed. It is ideal for children and families. You can take excursions to magical lakes such as Lake Großsee, Lake Steirersee or Lake Schwarzensee. Water in the lakes is a bit cold: but fantastic clean. Some lakes (e.g. Steirersee is worth snorkeling (only in wetsuit).

With a fantastic view, this place is a nice place to eat something. The food is good. And price/quality is very good. I personally had the spectrophoto (Euro 4.90) and it was absolutely good. I've been on the Tauplitzalm for many times, but never... has eaten here. It's a little hidden on the Alm.
