First time coming here and it was lovely staff are friendly the food was delicious and very reasonably priced they are even dog friendly will definitely be back

We always eat at this restaurant whenever we are in the area because the food is fantastic. The steak and ale pie we had was the best we've ever had. The dish included potatoes, carrots, beans, and red cabbage, and we would give it five stars.

The service at this restaurant is extremely slow. My food arrived, but my partner's dessert, which we ordered at the same time, never showed up. This is the third time this has happened in three weeks. When we asked a young waitress about it, she was rude and turned her back on us. The staff could benefit from basic training on how to work in a cafe, such as ensuring customers have cutlery for their meals. The coffee often arrives spilled all over the tray. They really need to improve their service. We will not be coming back.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The toasted bacon, brie, and cranberry sandwich was delicious, and it was served with a side of salad and crisps. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the coffee was also excellent. I enjoyed watching the chickens roaming around outside. I will definitely be dining here again. Overall, a 5-star experience.

Dropped in just for a coffee on the way back from Taunton until we saw the breakfast menu. Chose the eggy bread with balsamic cooked tomatoes and bacon. Wow, delicious. It was difficult to decide what to have so went for this option as it was so different. Definitely not disappointed. The staff are so friendly and prices very reasonable. Not sure why we haven’t been in before but will certainly go back. They do a loyalty card for coffee so it is worth trying to fill up to get a free cup. Such a pretty place to eat, just wish it had been a bit warmer so we could have sat outside. Those brave enough to do so had the company of chickens and ducks strutting their stuff around the tables. Oh, and we bought some Dundee cake to take home.
