Wagga Wagga Country Club - TATTON

Service was average as there were only 2 tables of 6 and 1 of 2 to be served. Waited a very long time for the entree to appear. Main arrived not long after finishing Entree. Slow to clear glasses from the table. By 8 o'clock starting to close things down. Meals were a good size although 4 on our table had the cutlets and found them over cooked and therefore were a bit dry.

Lunch in the restaurant of the Country Club (Golf). Everything was top notch from the happy, friendly waitress, the lovely view over the lake, to the beautifully prepared food. All elements of our 3 course meal were superb. A tad expensive for our 3 course lunch but enjoyed every bit of it and will be returning.

Had a wonderful lunch there. Rare steak cooked to perfection, eggplant papeton (pope's hat), roasted potatoes, salad with warm goat cheese. Just lovely!

Friends of ours who have a summer house in a nearby village said this was their favorite local hangout.
