L'assaig - Tarragona

Spent an hour sitting here whilst the wife was in the nearby Cathedral. We then had a lunch of traditional Paella which she enjoyed. Total was 25eu for meals beer and tea. Nice relaxing place to sit by the steps to the cathedral.

Stopped here in a group of ten (6 adults, 4 small children) for lunch. Very accommodating with some child friendly options. Didn't see any highchairs but we didn't ask for them. Reasonably priced and generous portions. Nice veggie pizza for me! Wide menu including pasta, pizza, tapas, paella and more English options (nuggets and fries).

This restaurant is located on the busy Placa de Fora, which in itself is a lovely place to enjoy a drink and a meal. The restaurant itself is nothing special, relatively rough and ready, but the food is tasty. The tapas we tried were well prepared and the portions very generous so much so that I would recommend one dish as a whole meal. We ordered 3 between 2 and really struggled to finish, and we are both grown men! The price/ quality relationship is good, and the service attentive. A good place if you want something quick and simple in the old town of Tarragona.

Excelente desayuno. lugar de la visita: l 'assaig date of the visit: 20709/2017 situado en uno de los rincones de la plaça del forum, este establecimiento ocupa un lugar alargado, en el que al entrar encontramos un bar largo a la derecha, y en el fondo unas pocas escaleras que nos dan acceso a un loft donde encontramos cinco o seis mesas y taburetes altos. en el exterior tienen muchas mesas formando una gran terraza con sombrillas. Además de los desayunos, ofrecen comida casera. He estado desayunando un sándwich de atún medio (2,50 euros) que era delicioso, con un pan de chapata extra ancho, y una pequeña caña de cerveza (1,50 euros), es decir, un total de 4 euros para un buen desayuno. Los aseos están limpios y no hay nada que falta, aunque en ese momento el lavado de manos estaba roto. la atención del personal era correcta, y el servicio era bastante rápido.

Tiene una terracita en la plaza del fórum donde tienes un vermut o un vaso y también sirve tapas y puedes comer algo.
