Casa Matias - Tarragona

Average in almost any hinsicht food, atmosphere, service ... especially the service could have been more beautiful.

We had lunch here in Tarragona on the first day, and it was a great introduction to this wonderful city. the decor is historical with a tasteful modern twist. we sat outside and fell in love with the area of transition. we have returned almost daily. during our stay. we were given at the arrival olive and broth. we went with the two course menu that was good. it included a drink and dessert. I had the fish (hake), which was perfectly cooked, and my dining room partner had the Spanish sausage and chips. both dishes had been embellished on the side, what we enjoyed. the table service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed, so I really felt like our vacation. we would recommend this restaurant.

It was a great surprise to recieve excellent service and tender squid just at our hotels door. I do recommend Casa Matias to anyone in mood for beer with tasty local food.
