Just popped into a place we have been going to for 15 years. Absolutely awful sanitary conditions and poor response when I pointed out the ladies had no toilet seat, no loo roll and no hand soap. As much as I love this place I feel compelled to leave review

We visited to have lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Nice location but the food was terrible. We ordered 4 dishes, the tomato salad came first, which was what looked like, covered in sawdust. Tasted terrible, couldn't eat it. Next came, a plate of chips. Are mains which were pork cheeks and Andalusia pork arrived 10 minutes later, 10 minutes apart. The pork cheeks which came first were stone cold. We sent it back and a rude waiter returned it a little later. The pork was now hot but everything else on the plate had gone cold. The other pork dish was BURNT and we left most of it. The drinks are very expensive, 4.50 euros a pint. Not going again.

We went here by chance when visiting Tarifa, what a great find. BBQ not open, but the kitchen was great, we could see into the kitchen, clean, well set up and the staff were really good. we both had the local steak, Entrecoe de Retino, the chef said this beef was local to the area from Tarifa to Cadiz, it was beautifully cooked, and for a steak, it could be cut with a fork! the flavour was really good, served with mixed vegetables also well cooked and presented. would highly recomendit. we also had a lovely Roija, Hacienda Lopez de Haro good wine, and a good price. meal for two, two courses and wine, water and coffee was very good 65 Euro's including a second bottle of wine to take away. the steaks were so big we had a doggy bag and had the staek for lunch the next day with a salad, still as good cold as it was hot.(we were staying in our caravan!
