People Cafe - Taree

The service at this restaurant was very poor. The staff lacked knowledge about the menu and etiquette. They would lean over other tables when serving food. I specifically requested that all meals come together with drinks served first, but the timing was off. The last meal arrived when the first diners had already finished. The portions were not clearly described, and one drink was advertised incorrectly. The freshly cooked food and new coffees were placed next to dirty dishes, and we witnessed staff moving dirty dishes near the freshly cooked food. It was unhygienic and disgusting. If I could rate this place lower, I would.

Normally very good cappuccinos and hot chocolate. occasionally served a little too cool, but generally very tasty. teriyaki chicken wraps used to be really good, but not so good lately, too much salat and carrot and not enough huh.

The cafe was packed when we arrived so we looked at the menu and ordered. Luckily a table became available for us. Coffee was fantastic, the staff were very friendly, professional and in the ball. We both ordered the Eggs on Toast with Tomato and...Hash brown with Salmon and Avocado option. We ordered the eggs poached and they were cooked to perfection. Presentation was excellent and our breakfast was very tasty.

New owners/operators. Changing name from People to Green Tree. Genuine date scones very good. Very good hot coffee, efficient service from pleasant staff .

Are you Green tree or People. Tshirts say green tree table says people. Any way ordered mug cappuccino and fruit scone (requested not to microwave and thank you it wasn't . Conveniently in shopping centre. Food is fine as is service.
