Pandori Indian Resturant - Taree

Lovely tasting food, friendly environment, take away, delivery, dine in, menu log, complimentary papadums with every order, dine in or takeaway.

We remember the original place when the food was good. Food had no hint of Indian flavour ..Palak paneer bland..koftas were not koftas just mash in a too sweet sauce ..samosas small mushy and bland. We were told too many Australians complain the food is too "spicy" so they have made it plain. They forgot the lassi on the order. In addition the restaurant temperature was arctic. Too tight to put the heating on mid winter. Was our wedding anniversary..very disappointing indeed.

Used to eat there 2-3 times a week for lunch with many colleagues. Sometimes we had 4-6 a day going and on a Friday maybe 12-16 of us would be there.It was great food, great service and lovely owner. Changed hands now NONE of us go there. New owner has no customer service skills, arrogant and the food is no where near as good. Went back for the 3rd last time to give them another chance. Wont ever be going back. The servings have changed in size and quality. They may as well have given me boring rice. Had butter chicken, more sauce than chicken. Last time at the last chance scenario. Come back please the old owner we miss you and your food which was always the best in town.

This restaurant is in the same building as a pub that is not currently open. Having said that, it is done up quite nicely and you dont feel like you are in a pub bistro. The plain paper table cloths are not very appealing however after eating with 4 children I can see how useful they are.Butter chicken was ok and beef madras was very good. Complimentary papadum on arrival was nice touch - a little oily but it was close to closing time (which is early so ring and book!). Nan bread was ok too. We would eat here again as the food was quite good and it was a nice atmosphere and enjoyable (if messy) family experience - and the best restaurant quality food we have found in Taree.

This was better with previous owner .when we were there we found the service different .not really the best .we had butter chicken ,beef vindaloo ,lamb and beef with cashews i think .it was a little blend compared to previous but it was sort of ok .not great but had worst indian food .sorry but for me no return .
