Palettes, Taos Food Art

Everything's fine here. decent enough food that I was okay to eat, but I'm really happy they were open on Thanksgiving. This gives bonus points. Would I come back on a regular day? Probably not. But thanks? Yeah.

I spent three weeks at Don Fernando on a fire job and ate here most every night. I think I almost had the whole menu! The good: Sopapillas, the smashed Steak Burrito, the fish and chips, the fried filled Jalapeños, the salads (Rache!, and the nachos. The burger was consistently a little charred (three times and the prices are a little high, but overall is quite good for the Hotel Essen. The service was always friendly, and the restaurant itself is pleasant to sit even though it was only ever the bar area that was open, not the full seating area.

Dude, really? Service, mediocre at best. Food... Dont bother, at 28.00 a plate you'll leave hungry and broke. Just don't.
