Timoleone Café - TAORMINA

We were in Taormina in mid September and found this place while Googling for a vegetarian restaurant we were not disappointed! The ambiance is fabulous, we loved every wine we tried, and the bruschetta and tiramisu were delicious!! Unfortunately, we didn't get back to try their pasta dishes, but if we ever make it back to Taormina, I hope Timoleone's is still there. We met the owner, who was friendly, down to earth, and you could tell he loved and took pride in his restaurant. We saw him working as hard as the staff!! Five stars all the way!!

Assolutamente perfetto luogo con un'atmosfera eccezionale. Due visite, entrambe fantastiche. Purtroppo pieno la terza volta, ma torneremo volentieri l'anno prossimo! Apprezzo anche la possibilità di sedersi "solo" con un bicchiere, nessuno ti caccia via...

Sehr gemütliches Ambiente auf einer hofähnlichen Fläche mit angenehmem Licht am Abend, sehr nettem und aufmerksamen Service, angenehmer Musik (italienische Chansons ? Die Cocktailauswahl ist vielfältig und man kann auch abseits der Karte bestellen, geschmacklich waren alle Cocktails gut! Sind mehrere Male dort gewesen und haben beim letzten Mal gegessen. Das Bruschetta war sehr schmackhaft, knusprig mit leckerem Öl, frischen Tomaten, Gewürzen und Kräutern. Die Nudeln waren hingegen kaum genießbar doch von der Konsistenz gut. Das Gericht kam lauwarm auf den Tisch und war geschmacklich undefinierbar, fade und ohne Würze. So hat es auch der Nebentisch empfunden der beim gleichen Gericht ebenfalls versucht hat, mit Gewürzen etwas zu retten. Mein Fazit: Eine Empfehlung für drinks am Abend doch sollte man nicht hungrig kommen!

Veramente un gran bel posto… Un atmosfera top sugli scalini che guardi sul panorama… E personale gentile vale senza dubbio una visita…
