Mocambo - TAORMINA

I stopped in for a quick danish and coffee but it took a lot longer than that. I was in Toarmina as a part of an excursion from a cruise ship. While my fellow passengers walked around and shopped, I though I would have a cappuccino and danish. The 2 servers seemed frazzled and disorganized, neither knowing which tables the other had served. I waiting patiently and was finally asked for my order. The servers only spoke Italian but I was able to muddle through my order with the little bit I understood and by pointing at the pictures in the menu. It took quite a while to get my order and to eventually pay and get change. The danish was good and the cappuccino was adequate but not really worth the long wait.

Stopped in here for a cold beer and a bit of people watching. The waiter literally threw down some chips on the table and gave us the beers. I had to get up and find him to get the bill, very expensive for 2 small beers. There are plenty of other bars in the area with better service and value.

Totally not worth the price!!! Nobody is supposed to sell iced coffee for 5 euros, and pay cover charge like in a Luxury bar! Taormina is one of the most beatiful and visited cities of Sicily, and it does not allow to speculate on hot temperatures and ask outrageous prices for fresh beverage, shadow and water!! It was not event that good and service was not top level either. Toilet was not so clean

Grazie ottimo carlo super pasticceria e un grande educatissimo francesco ai tavoli, grazie ragazzi mi avete fatto rivivere la mia giovinezza degli anni le mie serate erano sesta acuta, mocambo e giara, il mio mocambo siete rimasti il migliore, un addio presto.

Bar con un bel dehor che da direttamente su una delle piazze più belle al tramonto. Servizio veloce prezzi medio alti
