Authentic place, real Italian style. The walls are covered with pictures of the owner brothers and world famous celebrities. We went there on a Tuesday night in April and the place was pretty quiet. A bit overrated. Food was good, but pricey. Atmosphere's great. Staff doesn't speak English and served soft drinks with tannin and caffeine to the kids TWICE, having me read the label on the bottle in Italian to them to prove it. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Wonderful patio under the vines, vegetarian options (though the sea food smelled extraordinarily delicious), kind and attentive owners who work alongside the staff. I bit overpriced, but given that it’s been around since the 1970s plus on a main street, I guess the price is worth it. Apart from the delicious aubergine tomato pasta, I tried the Limoncello Spritz and the lemon filled gelato they were both fantastic! Very well located place, under a pergola and opposite a small church. But cuisine unworthy of Italian fame. I took a plate of grilled fish, the fish was not scaled, another steak was clearly expired: an unbearable smell, I spat out directly what I had in my mouth. I was offered another plate then the waiter came to bring me a piece of fish just to prove to me that his fish was fresh, by the smell there was no possible doubt and the chef would not even have had to prepare it. 15 minutes to get a bottle of water. The boss takes the account without giving change. In short, you might as well stay at home if you want to eat rotten fish and very average service.
