Bidrage med feedbackVery Unique dining experience being located in an old train coach. The food was very good and the portion sizes were fairly good. We were the only people in the place, so the food came out very quick and the service was very attentive. The food is a bit pricy, since you had to pay extra for rice, and an automatic gratuity was added for parties of 7 or more.
Quick and efficient service. The waiters were very attentive to their guests. The food was very flavorful! Highly recommend the Cheese Chili Garlic Naan, a hit! The spice level on the food was just right. The ambiance was very unique and comfortable. This restaurant is located in a train, which makes for a very memorable experience.
Ambience of the restaurant is really good. Food is average we went in a group so got a chance to try variety of their food items. We tried gulab jamun for dessert it was simply amazing. Soups were average and Appetizers were pretty good, tandoor shrimp was really good. Main course could have been better. Overall it was a good experience.
We both really enjoyed most of the dishes, particularly the duck options. The vegetarian choices were decent, with the goat curry being excellent, and the Tandoori chicken was impressive as well. The daal was a solid offering, and the naan was hot, fresh, and well-baked; however, it was available only upon request. The samosas were somewhat underwhelming but not entirely disappointing. The spice levels ranged from mild to medium overall, with a few dishes having a more vibrant kick in a positive way. Typically, I avoid Tandoori chicken in buffets because it tends to be dry, but here it was the opposite—richly infused with a thick smoky flavor. The Chicken Tikka Masala featured a beautiful sauce, but the chicken itself tasted like it had been pre-cooked (I could be mistaken). There was also what I believe was shrimp in Tikka Masala; however, they didn't look very appetizing when I saw them. Considering we're in the Poconos, the food can easily receive a five-star rating. The overall Google rating of 3.8 does not accurately reflect the dining experience. Yes, the place is a bit rough around the edges, but the food quality makes it worth a visit. The price is fairly reasonable, at around $17.99. The buffet was consistently refreshed with fresh dishes at a reasonable pace, and the food was served hot. A 16% gratuity is added to all bills, with an option to adjust the total, including this automatic tip. While I think including a tip is fair, any additional gratuity for drinks might seem generous considering the moderate, yet friendly service. Personally, I’d prefer a flat 20% service charge without complicating matters with extra lines for tipping. It seems they've tried a few different methods if customers aren’t inclined to tip on the buffet. However, the practice of compound tipping feels a bit excessive outside a steakhouse setting. We plan to return and fully agree that the buffet is our preferred choice.
**** is a great choice for this type of cuisine. I'm currently on vacation, but unfortunately, I won’t be able to enjoy their food again. Everything was delicious, including the desserts. Honestly, the best dessert I’ve ever had was here. I highly recommend coming in and trying it out! Plus, it’s very budget-friendly, with the buffet costing between $10 and $20 per person.
