I rarely leave negative reviews, but I'm really frustrated after spending nearly $13 on an 8-inch sub when their website clearly states the price is $8.99. First of all, I ordered a Caprese sandwich, and they didn’t even know what that was! And they call themselves a NY deli?! I ended up having to get it "custom made." Honestly, it's just three basic ingredients: tomato, mozzarella, and balsamic on bread! Why am I being charged more for a sandwich with fewer ingredients than some of the others on the menu? There was actually a similar sandwich listed for a lower price, with a few extra ingredients. I'm only giving it 2 stars because the sandwich itself was good, and the cashier was nice. But this feels like a total rip-off, and it’s frustrating to see businesses taking advantage of inflation. I’m really disappointed and upset with myself for spending my last bit of money on this before payday.

It seems that the quality has declined, much like the dining options in the Poconos. The portion of meat was minimal and served on an oversized roll. Local pizza has also deteriorated in the Poconos, with less of everything to offer.

Someone posted a picture of a pitiful hoagie purchased at this place. He warned everyone not to go to this deli unless you like being totally ripped off.

RIPOFF!! I always knew that anywhere here that has NY in their name is a ripoff and this place proves me right. They have the audacity to call it an Italian sub when they put 2 pieces of meat and 2 pieces of cheese on a sub roll. This place is a disgrace. Stay away if you do not want to get ripped off.
