Michelle Soo Nyonya Chang

Chanced upon this place while driving along Bukit Rambai looking for chendol. So drove in and bought some to try. We have never looked back since then, every time we are in Malacca , we will buy a lot esp for my family and friends who love it. Very nice people behind the business, very happy to meet Michelle and David , the hands behind the great food. Zhang and kaya and everything else are made from scratch with love, kaya from real fresh coconuts husked and grated then squeezed.. real good stuff we are getting here! Just 10-15mins drive from Malacca downtown area, a non-touristy gem not to be missed in Malacca

Being a Peranakan, I bench mark nyonya chang against those made by my mum. Michelle's is simply the best I've tried. The glutinous rice is of the right texture (cukop kenyal) and the filling has the right amount of spices etc. Keep it up, Michelle!

The best nyonya Chang after my regular lady who has now retired. Simply the BEST compared to the ones in Jonker Street and some other famous ones. Keep it up. Will be seeing me often.

My husband is the type of person not really like to eat Chang. But he said your Chang the texture, oiliness and the meat taste just right. The fragrance is also a big plus we will definitely order it again next time if we are in Melaka. Take care.
