Friendly, fast service. waiter was great!! food was delish!

Ever since I tried this place for a Yelp event I've wanted to go back, but it took until now to actually make it. We went early, so parking was not a problem. They had just opened and we were the first people in the place. The combo bartender/server sat us at a booth, gave us menus both regular and brunch, and took our drink order. I tried their watermelon margarita and it was excellent. My friend and I split the ceviche appetizer, which I don't even see on their online menu. It was fantastic. So fresh and so flavorful with a hint of jalapeño bite. I loved that they served fresh homemade chips with it. Our entrees came out shortly afterwards, and my birria tacos were juicy and delicious, with an excellent dipping consomé. Would it kill them to serve them with a side dish though, like corn, or chips and salsa? My friend had shrimp nachos and let me sneak a bite, and the huge portion was very good. Just a heads up food took a loooooong time to come out, though since we were not starving/in no hurry/drinking margaritas it did not matter. Don't go hangry though. We had a great relaxing meal, and I look forward to going again.

Ate here last night for the first time. Cool vibes. Loud music, playing good jams honestly. Seemed extremely under staffed. Which is no one's fault at all. I do think the restaurant should have restricted their capacity to provide a better service. It took us a while to get greeted. Once we did we ordered the mojito and the mule. Both were very good, however the mojito had jalapeños in it and that was not in the description and when I asked the host she had no idea what to tell me.. I don't mind the jalapeños but maybe be sure to confirm your drink ingredients. We got our drinks when our friends arrived and we didn't see our server for almost over 20 minutes.... It took an extra 10 for them to get their drinks. Over all we were there almost two hours got one round of drinks and food. The birria tacos, are not where it's at. I hate to say it but we were very disappointed with the food for the cost.. the bowls are where money seems best spent. Over all review, it was okay. I might go back for a bowl if I'm in the area but it won't be my first choice:

This place is such a good chill vibe. Great drinks, the atmosphere is so nice, and the food is good. Highly recommend the street corn.
