The experience is tough to beat when it comes to the atmosphere, knowledge and professionalism of the servers. From the sever to the chef, they ensure you are being taken careof and thank you for dining at their restaurant. We had the mushroom bruschetta, meatballs, pear sachietti and the squid inkcalamari and clam dish. All were everything you could ask for, taste and quality were superb. Highly recommend and there?smultiple dishes that sounded great, so more than one trip is likely.
Wow. We have had intentions of trying this restaurant for months- and finally, we made it in! Camila and Adolfo were the most amazing, attentive servers!!!! Each and every detail created the most incredible experience. My husband and I were diningtogether, and it was the most ideal date atmosphere imaginable. The music, having one entree arrive at a time, sharing ourplates and never feeling rushed. We were offered custom plates, as our servers let's us know that the chefs can create dishesthat were not on the menu. The menu selections were incredible, as were the list of specials. Each and every dish we ordered wasabsolutely flawless. This was truly one of the best meals out we have ever experienced! The Caprese Salad, the bread, themeatballs, the saccotini- OMGGGG and pappardelle pasta with steak....all left us speechless. I highly recommend trying severalthings and sharing- it's an amazing experience! Thank you for the perfect meal and an amazing date!
I ordered $200 worth of food and was extremely disappointed. The Caesar salad I received was the size of a side dish, which is absurd for $10—it wouldn't even be enough for a two-year-old. I also ordered two pasta dishes with lobster, and I’m not exaggerating when I say there were maybe three small pieces of lobster in total. The linguine marinara was priced at $38, which is outrageous. I'm all for paying for a good meal, but this place feels like a complete rip-off.
Now, let’s talk about the fantastic food that complements that great service. The menu is impressive and offers something for everyone, ensuring you’ll want to return. What I love most is their willingness to accommodate special requests for any dish you desire! I often order off the menu, mixing and matching different options to savor all the incredible flavors. During my last visit, we tried a sampler appetizer with gnocchi, sacchettinis, and their homemade meatballs—each bite was better than the last. For the main course, we enjoyed a special salmon dish and off-menu filet medallions topped with truffle butter, along with pear-stuffed sacchettini. Everything was amazing; the filet medallions were especially my favorite! To top it off, we indulged in cappuccino and tiramisu for dessert. If you’re nearby, definitely check this place out for an intimate dinner. And if you’re further away, consider flying in with friends—it’s absolutely worth it!
This place transported us back to Cambridge, Massachusetts, where we used to frequent cozy little BYOB restaurants just like this one. After more than 20 years in Tampa, I think we've finally discovered a truly authentic Italian restaurant.
