Michael's Grill - Tampa

The fried brie with strawberry Habanero sauce was so good. we shared the honey bourbon lachs entree and ended the meal with the sticky toffee pudding. everything was delicious, service was great the cocktails and wein were great and not skating on taste! will be back on any case

Michael is a nice place where the locals hang around. that was our first time and it was okay. the meal was warm not hot, the grouper was a little over boiled, and very loud because the tables are very close. alexis, our server, was very friendly, helpful and attentive.

We were excited to try a locally owned establishment with very favorable reviews and close to home. Unfortunately, we were underwhelmed. The staff were friendly and service was very good but the food wasn’t what we were expecting for the price and based on reviews. The pasta bolognese was good but not great, tasted like boxed pasta. The grouper dish was better but also nearly twice the price. The vegetables were undercooked and the knife wasn’t sharp enough to easily cut them. The couple of cocktails we tried were good. We had previously eaten here for brunch and weren’t impressed but we thought to give dinner a try. Ultimately, both visits were disappointing and we’ll be exploring the area for other options.

Michael's is so incredibly customer oriented. Their wait staff is efficient but you never feel rushed....their food is consistently delicious....we love going there for dinner...

Had to be the best crab soup I’ve ever had. The house salad was stunning. Crab cakes were a bit salty but full of real crab. Fried calamari was superb. Pork loin was beautiful. Peanut butter pie: insane.
