La Casona Restaurant - Tampa

The place outside looks bad but inside it's super cute. The service is excellent. But I didn't like the food. Stopped into this restaurant in Tampa and the smell outside just brought be back home. Authentic Puertorriquena food. Nothing beats homemade red beans like momma used to make. Had the pork chops with white rice. Also had the stuffed shrimp tostones. Everything was delicious and service was excellent. Will stop by again if ever in the Tampa are.

I didn’t have high hopes but I was pleasantly surprised, the service was outstanding and the food was really good, I had grilled shrimp and arroz con gandules which was really good, the empanadillas were really tasty, I honestly enjoyed the food very much!!
