Kipos - Tampa

The prices specified in the menu are not the same as the one calculated. they advertised as lunch special for 10 and then calculates 12. absolutely ridiculous, especially when the cashier said she can't change what on the computer. Moreover, the chicken feed was tasteless and low quality. they save their money and eat them elsewhere.

Had high hopes for this place but it disappointed. Came here for dinner and to check it out. I ordered the Pita Gyro. It is shaven lamb and beef, feta, tzatziki, tomato, onion, on a warm pita. I thought it came with a side but it did not. It was extremely salty. It was also not appealing to the eye. Very messy and unable to hold it. Had to use a fork and knife in order to attempt to eat it. Very little onions, feta, and tomatoes. Also, they didn't have water cups which I thought I was interesting. Would not go back.

I got the gyro plate and it was good and flavorful. The customer service I received was great. They were really kind and welcoming. It was the first time I've eaten Greek food and they gave me really good recommendations and answered all the questions I had. I will definitely recommend kipos to anyone to who wants to expand there palette.

We went to Armature Works for the 4th of July, and decided to grab some food at Kipos! It was a huge disappointment! After ordering our food we were told it would be ready in ten minutes. When we walked up to the pick up counter 10 minutes later the guy working told us he forgot about our order. We waited another 10 15 minutes to get our food in an extremely greasy brown bag. On top of that they got out order wrong! We ordered and paid for the Kipos fries but they gave us regular fries with no feta, oregano or tzatziki. Both pitas we ordered were extremely greasy but the worst part was when I looked at my chicken pita. The chicken was not fully cooked, it was pink. Had to throw the whole pita in the trash. Below is a picture of my chicken pita. We paid 47 and had to share one greasy pita, French fries and soda. Never ever again!

We visited armature works for lunch on a busy Saturday of a holiday weekend. Kipos service was fast and correct! I loved their chicken pita! It wasn't the greatest I've ever had but for the price the portions are huge! I got the Kipos fries also and they were... okay. I think the idea of the ingredients sounded better than it was in real life. However, even with the Kipos fries you get a ton of food for your money. I would definitely eat here again if I'm in the area craving a chicken pita.
