Bidrage med feedbackThe food is definitely not high quality, it was decent, but something you could find at a regular restaurant like Texas road house. The restaurant is on the water, but the view is of the shipyard. Good thing I have the living social deal, because I would not pay regular price to come here when there are so many better restaurants around.
This was a horrible experience. One the scale of 1-10 it was a -1 he food expectation for brunch was poor. A person should never have to make multiple trips to the buffet due to food not being prepared or lack of. To put the shrimps in with the grits was poor judgment. What about the ppl who are allergic to shellfish? So they're not entitle to eat grits with eggs? The drinks were watered down so bad! I mean if the restaurant financially wasn't ready to open it shouldn't have. This will promote bad business and the business will not survive. I had over 100 ppl ask me about the brunch due to I checked in.. And I told all of them it was horrible. I will never return again. That's just sad.
HWe made our reservation for brunch based on the restaurant's ad for brunch on their website. The ad said there was a burger and omelet bar We arrived for our 12:15 pm reservation to a locked door, although there was one couple eating at an outside table. As we started to walk away an employee ran and opened the door. We requested to be seated outside and our server immediately greeted and asked for our drink orders before our party was even in their seats. We asked about several listed bottled beers such as Michelob Ultra, Corona Lite, and Coors Light just to name a few and we were told they no longer carried them. After finally ordering our drinks I asked about the brunch and was told the brunch menu didn't start until May. Our server then listed a few menu items they were out of. After we ordered our food it did come out quickly. The ribs were very good as was the chicken salad sandwich. A member of our party asked for the direction of men's room. Our server pointed down a long corridor to door. Once he got to the door, it was locked. He had to walk around the building and enter in the front door. There are too many wonderful restaurants in the area to waste your time on this one.
The food was at best mediocre, and for me, it simply wasn't worth the drive from North Tampa. It felt similar to the casual dining options like Friday's or Chili's that are conveniently located just around the corner. Furthermore, we had bought a Living Social deal which motivated us to give the restaurant a try. However, when we attempted to use it, we were informed that they were no longer honoring or affiliated with Living Social!
The hummus appetizer was delicious, and we then shared a salad. At our table, we had two orders of lobster ravioli and one Shrimp Alfredo. Both dishes were outstanding. I will definitely be returning.
