Bidrage med feedbackIf you're looking for a unique dining experience with beautiful views and family-friendly facilities, then the Hartshead Inn is the place for you. Located atop the hills overlooking Manchester, this restaurant offers panoramic views and is situated next to the famous landmark, Hartshead Pike. On a warm summer day, this is the perfect spot in Manchester to enjoy some peace and quiet along with delicious food and beverages. You can opt for a special coffee or soft drink if you're not in the mood for alcohol, and dine outside while taking in the serene surroundings. My personal favorite is the Caesar Salad paired with a glass of Rose wine – a refreshing and satisfying combination. Check out their website for more menu options and early bird specials. Give it a try – you won't be disappointed!
I always enjoy visiting pub restaurants operated by Vintage Inns. The food is always well-cooked and good value for money. This was my first time at the Hartshead and I was not disappointed. The location is great, but might be a challenge in snowy conditions. They have a good size carpark. I will definitely visit again when I have the opportunity and will continue to visit other Vintage Inns pubs.
I absolutely love the Hartshead - it's my top choice for delicious British pub food. Despite it being a bit out of the way and often having to wait in the bar area for a table, it is definitely worth it. Once you've been, you'll constantly wish to return, especially if someone else is treating. The restaurant is very family-friendly, with reasonably priced food and drinks. It seems to be more popular for its food rather than just drinks. As I've never been on a nice day to enjoy the views outside, I can only imagine how stunning they must be. Make sure to order something hearty with plenty of gravy, or you'll be eyeing everyone else's plates. I recommend calling ahead on Sundays as it tends to get very busy for good reason.
Nice country setting and only 10 mins from Ashton Town centre. Food is good, but on the expensive side for what you get. Run of the mill pub dinners really .Nothing over the top. Good sunday lunch. Needs a good play area for kids asthey can get bored easily once they have eatten. Waited along time in between courses.
Pam H. Great location, lovely pub but im afraid to say the meal I had was very disappointing. I had the Chicken pie which looked lovely when it came but once i`d broken through the pastry i was shocked that it fell to the bottom of the dish, I search for my filling and managed to find 4 pieces of chicken and a bit of sauce, not what I expected for the price at all. I looked over to see what my Husbands Steak pie was like and he looked at me and asked me where his Steak was. Although the setting and the pub was nice I can assure you that I won`t be going back i`m sorry to say.
