Bidrage med feedbackAfter finishing our coffee, we were invited to participate in a tasting trial to test new dishes for the menu revision. There were about 6 different dishes, all of which were delicious. The staff provided excellent explanations and descriptions. We were so full from all the food that I ended up skipping dinner that evening.
We went to Ashton Park and went to the cafe for lunch as a family. There were no appropriate children's options on the menu, so I asked if they could make sausage and chips since both items were on the menu in other meals. The server asked a more senior staff member, but the answer was no. It seems like it would have been easy to put these items on a plate and ring them up as a meal. This was extremely disappointing customer service, and they missed out on an easy ten pounds.
My wife, her colleague, who are both NHS employees, and I visited this restaurant earlier today. We started off by going to the cafeteria for coffee and cake. When my wife tried to use her Blue Light card for a discount, she was initially told it was not accepted. However, after showing proof online and involving the manager, the discount was eventually honored with apologies from the staff. When we went to pay for our plants, we were once again told that the Blue Light card was not accepted. The manager, who was unhelpful and rude, refused to consider the possibility even after being shown proof online that it should be accepted. We were disappointed with this experience and will not be returning to this establishment if they do not honor their commitment to NHS employees.
Service was good and everything was clean coffee were very good but oh my their breakfast was disappointing. Had a veggie omelette which turned up brown and was very bland only served with overdone beans for £7.50 was not good. My partner had a breakfast again with overdone beans dry. Fried eggs were hard and overcooked. Fried potatoes were that well done they were also brown. Only thing not overdone was half of tomato which was rock hard. First and last time here very disappointing. Noticed as I walked past other tables there breakfast looked the same. I think the chef needs some training like you advertise on your come work for us sign
We've only been here for breakfast, but each time we have it has been tasty and the service has been friendly.
