Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Tallahassee

I’m updating my review. After a poor experience, I have to say that every visit since has been fantastic. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the food is excellent.

I don't usually write reviews, but I have to give a shout-out to an absolute gem named Miguel. Not only was he helpful and patient when I explained that I had lost my voucher for a discounted smoothie, but the smoothies he made were absolutely delicious. Keep shining your light, Miguel! Good vibes all around!

My smoothie was enjoyable, just like my experience at the register. However, I encountered an issue when I noticed a single employee who was not washing his hands or wearing a hairnet or face mask. I saw him moving from handling food items to preparing smoothies without taking proper food safety precautions. On the other hand, the other employee was fully committed and adhered to health standards. This incident took place on Friday, June 19, 2020, at 1:45 PM.

I frequent this TS and today I had the WORST service. I stood at the register to be greeted for about 5 minutes, no one even looked my way. After my order was taken, I watched Janie (the girl making my wrap) joke around and play around with her coworker (hoping it was not the manager because he was extremely unprofessional). It took Janie 15 minutes to make my wrap and it was still missing ingredients. I am highly dissatisfied with this location and will advise family/friends to avoid!

I LOVE tropical smoothie, but this location really sucks. The food is never prepared correctly and the smoothies are always watered down. I?ve never gotten one from here that was just made as it should be. I always have to come back or ask for my stuff to be remade. I?ve literally had an issue with them my last 3 visits! I always try to come back and give them the benefit of the doubt... but they just deserve the doubt honestly. Customer service and energy is very poor too!
