The service at this restaurant was exceptional. Even if the food wasn't amazing, I would come back just for the outstanding service. The owner, who was the only one working on a late Monday afternoon, greeted me warmly and was very helpful with recommendations. He even provided water for my dog and treated me like an old friend. When he brought out my food, he even brought a dish for my dog to enjoy. I ordered a Cuban coffee, roasted pork dinner, and key lime cake. The freshly made mojo sauce with my meal made me realize I had never experienced fresh mojo before and I am now spoiled. The coffee was good, but the meal was the real standout. The pork dinner came with black beans, white rice, sweet plantains, yucca, and roasted bread. The toast drizzled with mojo was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating it. The pork was tender and flavorful, especially with the mojo sauce. The key lime cake, also made by the owner, was a pleasant surprise. It had the perfect balance of tartness and sweetness, just like a good key lime cake should. I wouldn't hesitate to come back just for this dessert. Overall, this dining experience was so enjoyable that I might make the 2 1/2-hour drive to this restaurant again soon. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you are in the area.

A native told me about this place, I'm glad I took his advice. the owner said he is 76 years young, he closes the business that travels to Europe.

Super place. has not the name of the young, but super nice. lechon asado was delicious. will be back for coffee and key limette cake.

Got the half Cuban Dip for lunch. I'm going back for the same thing tomorrow. Cuban Grill has a new regular! Was looking for good food and not just a fancy place, and this place is it. See you tomorrow!

The place is not fancy, you order and pick your food up at the counter, the food is served on paper plates, it's low key hole in the wall. All those things make it a perfect spot. We got a Cuban sandwich with black beans and white rice. Everything was delicious, the black beans probably the best beans I've ever had. I finished it up with a slice of authentic key lime pie and a shot of cafe Cubano. Highly recommend this place.
