Richoux Patisserie - Takapuna

I was searching for a new restaurant to try in Takapuna and stumbled upon this small shop on the outskirts. As a vegetarian, I have struggled to find a good pie that doesn't taste strange. Intrigued by their vegan steak and mushroom pie, I decided to give it a try. It was hands down the best pie I have ever had, surpassing any pie I've eaten as both a meat-eater and vegetarian. For all the vegans and vegetarians out there, this is the place to go for a delicious pie.

The pain de chocolate was pretty good and so was the flat white. Nice service too! I did visit the day France lost for the World Cup, so I will blame myself for that

Best chicken pie I have had for a long time super tasty. Will definitely have to check out more of the menu next time. Friendly, fast service and a nice little location

Had a potato top pie that was really nice. Pricing is fair for a higher quality pie. There’s a cool little bar table that looks out onto the street that’s a great spot to enjoy a coffee and eat a pie. Will buy from here again!
