Abotanan Restaurant - Taiwala

There is a lot of food here as well as cold beer, sitting is usually al fresco, with a large screen to see movies in the night, all in all reasonable and pleasant.

Cozy atmosphere, away from the bush from the beach. beautiful and diversified filipino menu. beautiful place to watch cinema (some nights) outdoors while they night a drink in the warm bohol.

I was surprised to find that this place does not provide table service. We entered, sat at a table under a canopy, and waited. After a few minutes, a woman approached and informed us that we needed to order and pay at the counter. I was hesitant to leave, but we decided to order a pizza and bring it back to our table. The pizza was decent.

Abotanan offers delicious local dishes and excellent pizzas. The restaurant is located a bit off the beaten path, but it provides high-quality meals at a reasonable price. It is also a great spot for those who enjoy playing pool or darts.

I have eaten either lunch or dinner here about 3 times a week. For my girl friend and I you can get a pretty filling meal for a TOTAL of about 200 pesos for lunch and 250 for dinner. They have nice grilled food for...dinner. There is also an outdoor movie every night, table tennis and darts for those who are looking for something else to do during their visit. We will continue to go there for several meals a week but don't expect 5 star quality. Just fits my needs and budget perfectly.
