Guan Yin Zhai - Taipei City

Mostly vegan! Only the bibimbap has a version with eggs but no problem to have it w/o. It's nice to have food in a food court of a market with only local people but in general, this place is nothing special. Haven't tried their Korean food but it did look decent. The braised noodles (Taiwanese dish) were a bit average.

The stall was easy to find on the back of the food dish. I had Kimhi wheels that were delicious. good place to go when they go the opposite.

Easy to find, a lot of seating. we ordered the bibimbap and it was easy to order vegan as they speak well English. delicious, not too sharp. the kimchi was mild enough to eat our children. cheap eating too-it came to $2,50 ish usd pro bibimbap plate.

The restaurant is mainly vegan, with the exception of the Bibimbap which can be made without eggs. It's a unique experience to eat in a market surrounded by locals, but overall the restaurant is nothing extraordinary. We didn't sample their Korean dishes, but they appeared to be decent. The braided noodles from Taiwan were just average.
