Chuàn Gōng Fáng Yī Líng Wū Rì Běn Jiǔ

Probably one of the best meals I had in a very long time. Amazing chickensashimi! I don't write reviews normally, but this place really deserves five stars. (An English menu would be a great improvement, but the waitress advised me well what I should order, so it wasn't a big problem in itself!

One of the best Japanese bar I know in Tainan! Amazing food and great variety of Japanese will and whisky!

No reservations, only cash, party of 3 and not allowed to sit at the bar, a drink minimum per person etc. There are a lot of rules, but great food is worth it.

Very authentic izakaya style decor with a beautiful selection of Sakes, sparkling Sakes, nigori etc. Skewers were also amazing, all freshly prepared before you when you sit at the bar. We also managed to talk to employees. Really recommended if you are mature and disciplined enough to keep some small rules. Too bad that no photos are allowed inside, because the interior really has an atmosphere.

Probably some of the best yakitori I’ve had anywhere. Chef clearly cares a lot about doing it right. On top of the expert grilling, there is a fantastic sake selection and great atmosphere. Lastly, the service was great; the staff was very eager to help us understand the menu and ensure we picked out exactly what we were looking for. Will definitely be coming back.
