High Jump Sushi - Taichung

A great dinner. many great sushi. fish portions are generous! also tried the grilled makrele and the grilled yellow tail collar. both were very nicely cooked and would both reorder . also tried the bbq gay. that was a very beautiful surprise. tasting and would like that on a bed of noodles. I am looking forward to coming back! note, must bring cash. they do not accept credit cards.

Super cool little sushi spot. The food is tasty and the chefs are fun and really hospitable. Quite a few foreigners frequent here and an English menu is available. Definitely recommended if you’re looking for affordable quality sushi in a very chill environment.

American style sushi bar that comes with California rolls as well as creative menu. Decored as a Japanese Shiroya but with pop music and very lounge bar atmosphere. Food is tasty. California roll series and their seafood miso soup are recommended!

Great sushi and great music!! Very friendly staff who suggested some menu items for our group to try, and was spot on. Menus are in English also, very helpful. Thank you High Jump, I will be back next time I am in Taichung.

Delicious sushi with a California vibe! Unique menu! Delightful service and there is always a dish or two on the house. The space is tiny so do make a reservation. We didn’t but so appreciate the owner making room for us at the bar.
