Minghu Lao - T'ai-chung-shih

Mediocre at best. We had the 3 entre meal for 500NT. Chi li fish didn't have flavor. The chayote veggies tasted like weeds with garlic. Soup was bland. The food also came out so quick it felt precooked and heated up on demand. It's quite disappointing because the location is prime and the owners could up their game. They were very accommodating and nice. But the food just wasn't up to par.

All dishes (fried rice, stewed tofu, shrimp) has no flavour. Rice was burnt. Basil pancake was the only dish that was enjoyable. Couldn’t communicate or find chili sauce. Only soya or ketchup.

Food is below average , and the price ... well a big high but I know it’s a a sightseeing place... No next time, I’d rather have buffet at the hotel.

Food was all pre made, high price for the quality of the cuisine. We ordered 10 dishes, and only two I can say was mediocre, rest was awful.

It is the interested local restaurant. there are many Chinese foods. good price and beautiful taste. I have tried 500 NTD set and I have three menus. recommend them steamed fish, it was so fresh and delicious.
