La Picada Fish'n Chips - Tahunanui

The service was good. Loved how open and clean it looked. A little disappointed in the size of a scoop of chips and the the spring rolls were not your standard ones. Full of vermicelli and chilli. I have a severe allergy to chilli so went hungry. The fish was amazing as were the calamari rings. Perfect batter and succulent. A little expensive for what we got.

Great quality fish and chips, good size portions of both, served with a smile and on time. What more could we want! Thanks team Milton Street.

Food was nice and fresh and made with good quality ingredients. The staff were friendly and the menu provided gluten-free options. I was a walk in customer and I didn’t need to wait very long for my food to be prepared. Will definitely here again if I’m back in Nelson.

Excellent food, unfortunately quite a bit overpriced compared to similar quality competition. And there is another just as good, but more competitively priced.

Food was delicious. Seafood pizza was 10/10 as was the lightly battered shellfish. Not overly fatty like most places. Anyone complaining about the staff service obvs havnt worked in hospitality or QSR. The staff here were polite and did their job. That’s all I ask from someone who has to talk to the general public all day. Well done to you all, I’ll be back.
