Bidrage med feedbackVillage tavern is a surprisingly good option on bonifacio high. it is a classic American diner with a slightly raised menu full of comfort food with options from pacific felge to tex mex to continental. it is worth visiting for their goat cheese chorizo early rolls, but I also have the garnel balls and the ochsenbacken, everything we have tried in the did. high street prices, yes, but the portions are generous, and their house wine is an affordable but nice Italian trebbiano, so it is not worth bad at all. you should be hungry. I was also very impressed by the service that was very attentive to filipino standards.
This resto has a special place in my heart since this is where I had my first Sangria. Sadly, it is not as good as the first time I tried it. What redeemed them is the delicious risotto! Always love a cheesy and creamy dish!
Black burger was very, very salty, to the point that I was only able to eat less than half of it. So salty that I couldn't appreciate the components of the burger itself. Calamares were tiny.
Maybe it's just me but I felt claustrophobic for the whole duration of my meal. The presentation of the food, and its pricing, is indeed fancy, but the taste leaves much to be desired. I had the fish with bread crumbs and it was salty and a little oily. The potato halves appetizer is delicious, though. I'll probably go back for just that and a beer.
Great food, poor wine despite the restaurant using their wine list as a selling point. Sampled three wines at all price ranges and was 100 disappointed. Wine list also incorrect... marketing Romio Montepulciano de Abruzzo Aviary as Napa Valley.
