Bidrage med feedbackRazon's has multiple branches in Metro Manila and beyond. The name is well-known for its popular Halo-Halo dessert. The key to its deliciousness is the finely shaved ice that melts smoothly. With minimal ingredients, the dessert is enough to satisfy taste buds. Although I didn't try their other dishes, I plan to in the future.
Originally hailing from Pampanga, a province in Central Luzon, Razon's specializes in the popular Filipino dessert known as halo-halo. Translating to "mixed," this dessert features a combination of sweet beans, bananas, jackfruit, shaved ice, and milk. The special version includes a scoop of ube ice cream and leche flan on top. Filipino diners can now enjoy Razon's not just in Pampanga, but also in Manila, with locations in shopping centers like Market Market. In addition to halo-halo, the restaurant also offers other beloved Pinoy comfort dishes such as dinuguan, puto, and tapsilog.
We were on a late-night shift and my colleagues decided to have some Halo-Halo as a snack. When we arrived, we noticed that the staff was already busy setting up the kiosk for opening. They said they would open up just for us until the kiosk officially opened. We placed our orders, but when it came time to pay, the cashier informed us that they had no change. They should have been better prepared! The Halo-Halo-ice was delicious, with finely chopped ingredients and the milk used was fresh. We particularly enjoyed the sweet touch of makapuno.
The best Halo-Halo ever! my cousin led me to her halohalo, it was imperviously delicious, too bad I must go the next day or otherwise I comeback the next day. the pancit luglug was also the best pancite luglug I ever tasted, the rice...puto was also perfect, I can puto on my own, but I love it, someone else puto just to know the taste. I'm probably going back to market to eat this time in razon.
For pesos or roughly dollars, Razon is famous for its halo halo- a filipino refreshing dessert made of finely crushed ice, milk, and sweetened fruit. Their Halo-halo version is simple to look at using sweetened banana (Saba) but the taste is really superb...and irresistable. The milk used sets the difference. Must try!
