Bidrage med feedbackWe celebrate the birthday of my partner by treating him with a simple lunch in bgc. we brought this restaurant by, so we decided to try it. we ordered their 2 of their lunch set, the jambalaya (shrimp) ripen and jambalaya (sisig) huhn were the server repeated even our commands to make sure he got it right. but after 30 minutes waiting to our disappointment, we were served a completely different amount of food, we even asked if they had brought the food on the wrong table, but they insisted that we were the destination of food. with our faces that look confused, the same server proaktiw was enough to ask us what was wrong with eating, I told them that everything is wrong. he immediately apologised and realized that it was his fault. to compensate, he served us a glass of ice. 15 minutes have passed before our orders have arrived, this time they have it right. Moreover, as guests who eat in a lunchtime, they would have a head on how long their servier time is, we stared at a total waiting period of 45 minutes only to realize that they do not serve us the right food. her manager (I think) stared at us as if we didn't pay customers - 1. if we waited painfully, then 2. if we just go as if we left her restaurant without paying what we ordered. this manager was not even proaktiw enough to find out how he could have helped in our situation. it was even for me that the manager so quickly travel out in the service 2 that only order 2 bottle local beer. talk about spider pretension. will never come back and recommend this place even to my worst enemy.
We visited this charming little restaurant for lunch and were lucky to find it not too crowded. The food was amazing, especially the ribs and the pork belly. They offered free meals for children (we ordered the fish and chips, which was literally just a piece of fish and a small portion of fries) due to a mix-up in our order. The rice was plentiful, though I would have preferred potatoes. The staff was very friendly and they also offer options for takeout from their sister restaurant, Claw Daddy. Overall, this place deserves a definite 5 stars.
Ordered the southern American cuisine. Tasty and authentic, with nice gumbo. The portion is huge, have to share with others.
I'm an expat, but I don't really feel like I fit in with this crowd. It's a bit uncomfortable for a mom to eat here with her kids. The food is pretty good and the service is good, but you are surrounded by a lot...of smokers and people drinking. Also you will see a lot of foreign men with multiple local woman hanging out here. Don't get me wrong, it's a fun spot and I'm not judging. Just not appropriate for a family! :
Elvis' song is reminiscent of what New Orleans has to offer jambalaya and gumbo that will rock and roll your palate. My in laws from New York and New Jersey were visiting and wanted to have a great dine together before they return to the East...Coast. From Fully Booked, I walked them over to New Orleans since I have not been here for some time. The death by gumbo and jambalaya as well as cajun skillet are both signature dishes that should be tried, in house cheesecake could have come from the Cheese Factory in Atlanta and the service was first class.
