Bidrage med feedbackThe main advantage of this restaurant is it sits right on the bridge and has a view of the Grand Canal . And it is quite spacious inside with feeling lavish interiors and decor, some of which are for sale like the Murano jewelry and glass pieces. It does feel a little overboard though with its waiters and waitresses decked in 17th century clothes and wigs. Pasta was so-so...the place is more about decor and ambiance rather than food. But desserts were good especially the Tres Leches cake.
Caesar salad made with leaf lettuce not romaine and topped with bacon but no mention of bacon on menu...imagine the surprise the vegetarian diner had. Minestrone soup with a sour element...I thought Italian soup not a Filipino soup. No water, no bread served. Coffee machine broken. Never again.
The atmosphere is pleasant. The waiters' costumes, resembling those of a live singer, give the restaurant a classy feel. However, the menu is limited. Unfortunately, the service is lacking. Pasta dishes are served quickly, but sometimes before the soup, leading to an odd dining experience. Rice dishes are not listed on the menu but can be requested. The portions for rice dishes are small. The mushroom soup is too salty, and the blueberry cheesecake is lacking in richness. Overall, the prices do not match the quality of the food. Not worth it.
A little taste of Venice in Taguig. The staff is very hospitable. Unique experience. Great value for money overall.
The restaurant on the bridge seemed inviting, so we decided to have lunch there. We ordered the set lunch which included corn soup, lasagne, and strawberry cheesecake. The soup and lasagne were average, but the dessert was a disaster. The cake was dry and hard, as if it had been sitting in the fridge for weeks. We couldn't eat it, so we asked the young waitress to replace it. After some time, she brought us a larger piece of soft cake with cream on top. I also ordered a cup of coffee, which was dark roast and delicious. The service was slow, but the waitress was friendly and helpful. The cafe was decorated with Italian kitsch lamps, Murano chandeliers, and crystal glasses.
