As a vegan, you have two options: Take a salad (mixed green or lambs ' lettuce or they offer a vegetable plate upon asking. I opted for the lambs ' lettuce. For a price around CHF 15. , the portion wasn 't very large. The lambs ' lettuce itself was good, but for Italian sauce , staff just gave you olive oil and balsamic vinegar no actual dressing made by the chef. Definitely not value for money. The bread was fine, but even though tap water was already in our glasses when we arrived, we were charged for it after our meal basically coming down to If you drink what 's in front of you, you pay for it. . I was surprised that there wasn 't a surcharge for the bread. The menu otherwise is totally meat and fish oriented and if you 're into eating stuff like tripes and pay a lot, then this is the place to go. I won 't return.
I had dinner in July with my friends on the last trip to Switzerland in Gerolfingen, near the lake of Bienne, where I stayed with friends. The freshwater fish in the Retaurant Züttel was great. The “Felchen” and the Egli were some the best we ever had. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. On our next trip to Switzerland we will definitely try to re-visit the restaurant Züttel. We highly recommend this Restaurant for local seafood.
Gute Küche jedoch finde ich etwas zu sehr gelobt. Das essen war gut angerichtet wie in einer Sterneküche, was uns etwas enttäuscht hat. Wir dachten wir treffen auf gute bodenständige Küche, was leider nicht der Fall war. Der Chlor Geruch aus der Küche war leider auch nicht das tollste.
Sehr feines Essen leider schliesst das Restaurant im Juni 2021.
Das Essen sowie der Wein waren sehr fein. Immer wieder ein kulinarisches Erlebnis!
