The Spar - Tacoma

We've been coming here forever, but today was the first time since Covid. Place is still great and the service was awesome. It was busy, but the server did an excellent job handling all the tables. I had the fish and chips, it was good. Really like the skinny fries also, yummy. Parking can be an issue, but oh well..

I go there for every special occasion, was just there for my birthday, instead of being disappointed from high class restaurants, I do miss the Gumbo, I hope they bring it back soon, I also enjoy the beautiful view!!

Went to hear blues band. Enthusiastic crowd, busy, took 1st time date She enjoyed food, music, bar drinks, wants to return here.

If you're looking for great pub fare, friendly service, and a welcoming vibe, then head over to The Spar in Tacoma's Old Town. They have some of the best halibut chips in town. The panko crusted halibut is hand coated in house, and I recommend pairing it with their Spar Chips, sliced in house and lightly seasoned. It just elevates the experience. And definitely check out some of their great local IPAs on tap. Cheers!

Good pub with pub food options. The Alaskan Cod was tasty. We were there for food and some live music and were not disappointed in either.
