La Waffletz - Tacoma

Super nice guy that clearly loves his trade. I just swung in to pick up a few macaroons because I've read such great things and they were worthy of every 5 star review they've received. You know somebody takes pride in what they do when they are apologetic for only having 5 freshly made varieties to choose from.. Who could possibly be mad at that? Keep doing what you do. I'll be back soon.

This place is totally a hidden gem of Tacoma. The macaroons are amazing! I had some in Paris when I went. these were by far way better! I had the Belgian waffle and it was equally as amazing! I will be coming back again and again!

Came with wife and mother. Absolutely lived up to the hype! The waffles came out perfect, quite lovingly crafted by the chef! He even personally came out to our table to check our satisfaction. Delicious in every way!

This place makes some great liege waffles! Make sure you try a liege one versus a Belgium waffle it requires a special waffle maker and pearl sugar can't be easily made at home. There is nothing comparable in the area to what Belgium offers (I even tried places in Portland and Seattle). The owner is from France very humble. The Macarons seemed to be a big hit also last time I was there. I'll have to give them a try next time.

I've been going here for a long time. Definitely my favorite place to stop in town, however this time it appears you're no longer open. Have you moved locations? If so I'd love if you updated your information! Thank you for all the great waffles and macarons.
